Mark Molzen has more than 25 years of experience in the public and private technology sectors. He is currently the Director of Global Issues for Lumen Technologies.  

As the Director of Global Issues for Lumen Technologies, a Fortune 130 technology company operating in 60 countries, he serves as the company’s spokesperson and a resource for the senior leadership team. He handles global issues management, writes company position statements, manages Lumen’s business press program, provides mentorship for junior communications practitioners and more.

He has handled strategic messaging/branding, social media strategy, issues management, product launches and more for organizations ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies in multiple industries. He has provided counsel to executives at numerous industry-leading businesses, including General Dynamics, IBM, Apple, Sony, and Southwest Airlines.

Mark earned a B.S. degree in Mass Communication from the University of Utah with a minor in marketing.

He currently serves on two boards - the Black Chamber of Arizona and Survivors of War. Also, he owns and operates his own marketing and public relations company, which specializes in non-profit work. In addition, he is the author of Chosen with Purpose - a book on adoption and identity.
